Replaced the bar tape on the ring handles that the kids use on the cargo bike. The old one was original so it held up for over five years before it started to come undone.
The old tape was black so the new sky blue colour looks really nice.

Fortunately our waterpoofing held out ok

AngelaI was almost convinced that a #cargobike would solve our transport issue, with the kid still hating the car and buses.
I just looked up maximum weight limits for cargo bikes, the page I found said 100kg, and I'm 85kg and the kid is 52kg (and growing). 🙁
Well, it was a nice thought.
BackstubeEs war wirklich eine tolle Veranstaltung gestern im Solid. Es gab leckeres Essen, und danach haben Leute von der #Schokofahrt, von #Radlaster, Grüne #Stadtlogistik und #Foodbike und wir unsere Erfahrungen erzählt mit dem Versuch, #Ernährung und #Verkehrswende zusammen zu packen.
Hm, und vielleicht können wir mit "grüne Stadtlogistik" zusammen ne #Cargobike Garage um die Ecke haben, im Moment haben wir nämlich keine und wir haben ein Vandalismus Problem. Das Autofahrys nicht in dem Ausmaß haben.
Und wir haben ein bisschen geträumt von einer #Dinkelfahrt, angelehnt an die Schokofahrt. Wir müssen uns dann aber überlegen, wie wir das machen, so dass der Transport noch Biokontrollen-Konform ist.
Wenn ihr im Herbst mitfahren wollt beim Getreidetransport per Fahrrad, meldet euch gerne bei uns, es sind 80km und einmal in der Scheune/Zelt schlafen.
HeinerbikeIn zehn Jahren und hunderten Verleihungen tritt dann doch der eine oder andere Defekt auf. Gestern blockierte die Auflaufbremse der Carla Cargo und dann stand das Ding fest.
Als erklärte Unterstützer*innen der #Verkehrswende kam eine automobile Bergung des havarierten Anhängers nat[rlich nicht in Frage.
Danke an @Pyro und @goto vom @lfda , die den Transport mit dem Lastenrad durchgezogen haben.
