Happy St. Patrick's Day to all who celebrate!

When I was a kid in the 80s, Rainbow Brite dolls were a big deal. They had colourful outfits, yarn hair, and fuzzy plush sprite companions. I had Patty O'Green, so when The Loyal Subjects announced a 5.5" fashion doll version of her, I had to get her.

...and immediately had to pack her up for our move. Almost a month later, I'm still unpacking and organizing 🫠 but I had to let her have some time in the spotlight for St. Paddy's Day!

(Good Luck Bear and Monster High G3 Deuce Gorgon are there for moral support, and because they were green and also unpacked.)

Debutniverse is my blog where, each week, I watch just the first episode of a different cartoon and do a write-up of all my thoughts on it! I've covered shows like Transformers, Care Bears, Recess, and Eek the Cat to name just a few! I would love for you to join me on this adventure!

I don't consider it to be a review blog - I'm terrible at giving numerical ratings and things like that, and I much prefer to enthuse about the parts I enjoy rather than whine about the parts I don't like. So it's mainly an excuse for me to watch a bunch of cartoons and then ramble as much as I like! Oh, and also, I've made a whole bunch of GIFs of each show for you to plunder.

If you like to do art of cartoon characters, please send me your drawings of any of the cartoons I've covered on the site! At this point you have over 80 cartoons to choose from, any skill level is accepted, and it's fine if it's art that you've already created! Once you've sent your art to me, I'll display it in an entry and I'll link to your site or socials alongside it!
