That alone could be >700Gt CO2 within 30 years, up to a whopping 23Gt each year! Plus the avoided methane and nitrogen emissions. So the rewilding of land used for animal farming today might mean -0.4°C.…!!!!!

And ocean acidification and nitrogen leeching is halted as well. What's not to like?
And now add the plants burnt as jet fuel…
And add the re-wetted peatland used as pasture today that stops their active CO2 emissions and might even revert them back into actively storing ever new carbon for thousands of years…
Just by avoiding burgers and Feta!
