A reminder that gelatin and animal products like that come from the deaths of these very smart animals. I once knew a crazy man who's living came from his two donkeys and #fatwood #topury he would go to the forest and he would bring back this stuff that people would use to heat their homes in Mexico basically. His donkeys were everything to #toniolamuerte. If you know him, you know me probably. Strange.

This morning I solved some issues with my #apes #AlternativePhotography Exposure System 😁. The buttons are now safe red color. First time using it full screen to expose a #carbonprint. I gotta go through my notes to see what else to fix today about my #process. One was temp, the other was using hardened gelatin wet during transfer. This better work. I'm loosing my mind over how easy everyone makes it to be and how hard it has been so far. #cyanotype blew my mind when I got my first good print.

I worked a little over the weekend on the #chibaprocess. I was able to make a print using #FAC #ferricammoniumcitrate. I made a few others using #ferricammoniumoxalate and those exposed faster. I have to double check that. This time around I learned how the image looks when it's not exposed enough. I also learned that one could do a #carbonprint without fully drying the #tissue if you seal the front with a thin sheet of plastic. I have to try that too.

#Ladies and #gentlemen of #photography, I present to you all my very first intensionally developed #carbonprint. It is 2 #washers and a #screw. I know normal #photos are #1000words long. This one is more #abstract. Like 5 #words or less. You can see the sensual curvature of 2 washes facing each other near the center where the shadow of a screw meets them in the still #wet #buggery #glop.
