Agi: Un vigile urbano indagato per la fuga dei cavalli a Roma

AGI - Un agente della Polizia locale indagato e altri tre le cui posizioni sono al vaglio della procura di Roma nell'inchiesta avviata in relazione all'episodio della fuga di una trentina di cavalli durante le prove per la parata del 2 giugno. Ad essere iscritto sul registro degli indagati l'agente della Polizia locale di Roma Capitale che ha acceso i fuochi d'artificio nella zona delle Terme di Caracalla scatenando la reazione degli animali. All'agente il procuratore aggiunto Giuseppe De Falco contesta i reati di lesioni colpose e accensioni ed esplosioni pericolose aggravate. Altri tre agenti sono invece citati nell'informativa finita sul tavolo dei magistrati, ma ancora non formalmente iscritti sul registro degli indagati. Le loro posizioni sono al vaglio. All'origine della vicenda l'accensione di una batteria di fuochi d'artificio in vista della parata del 2 giugno. Il gesto ha impaurito alcuni degli esemplari che sono scappati. Prima uno, poi un altro, fino a quando su viale delle Terme di Caracalla e via Cristoforo Colombo erano circa una trentina i cavalli. Inevitabile l'attenzione dei curiosi che hanno girato video e scattato fotografie per cogliere il momento e pubblicare i contenuti sui social.
Il racconto degli agenti feriti dai cavalli
Tra i cavalieri presenti c'è chi ha ricostruito così l'accaduto: "E' stata la nottata più spaventosa della mia vita. Noi non sapevamo niente, eravamo sciolti prima di iniziare la parata. Sono partiti i fuochi d'artificio, i cavalli della fanfara si sono spaventati, i cavalli dei lanceri sono partiti travolgendo chiunque e qualsiasi cosa avessero davanti".Un'altra poliziotta ha raccontato: "A una ragazza si sono rotte le costole e le ginocchia, l'hanno devastata. Il mio cavallo ha fatto tre o quattro piroette, ho pensato: ecco, adesso parte e muoio".
Il bilancio dell'incidente
Il bilancio dell'incidente avvenuto prima delle prove del 2 giugno è di quattro feriti tra le forze dell'ordine, due militari dell'Esercito e un agente della Polizia di Stato. Feriti lievemente anche una quindicina di cavalli.

It was inevitable that the attention of the onlookers would turn to capturing the moment and publishing the content on social media.

The Account of Officers Injured by Horses
Among the cavalry present, one reconstructed the events as follows: “It was the most frightening night of my life. We knew nothing, we were released before starting the parade. The fireworks were set off, the fanfare horses became frightened, the lancer horses took off, trampling over anyone and anything in their path.” Another police officer recounted: “A girl broke her ribs and knees; they devastated her. My horse did three or four pirouettes, I thought, ‘Now it’s getting away and I’m going to die.’”

The Incident’s Balance Sheet
The balance sheet of the incident that occurred before the June 2 rehearsals is four injured among law enforcement officers, two members of the Army, and a police officer from the State Police. About fifteen horses were also slightly injured.

4Sono in corso verifiche su un vigile urbano di Roma Capitale che potrebbe aver esploso alcuni petardi poco prima delle prove della parata del 2 giugno, provocando il panico tra una trentina di cavalli impegnati nell'allestimento della cerimonia ai Fori Imperiali. L'episodio, avvenuto nella zona delle Terme di Caracalla durante le prove della parata per la Festa della Repubblica del 2 giugno, ha generato momenti di forte tensione lungo via Cristoforo Colombo, dove gli animali imbizzarriti si sono riversati tra auto e passanti. Secondo le prime ricostruzioni, il rumore dei fuochi d'artificio avrebbe spaventato i cavalli, che hanno iniziato una fuga incontrollata rendendo necessario l'intervento immediato delle forze dell'ordine e dei militari presenti alle prove. Il bilancio è di due militari e un agente feriti in modo lieve durante le operazioni di contenimento, mentre circa quindici animali avrebbero riportato escoriazioni e contusioni. Sull'episodio indagano i carabinieri della compagnia Roma Centro che invieranno una prima informativa ai magistrati della Procura della Capitale.

The Carabinieri of the Roma Centro company are investigating the incident and will send a preliminary report to the magistrates of the Capitoline Prosecutor’s Office.
