It’s extremely difficult to balance “I want an e-bike as a #carReplacement and have secure ground-level storage” and “I want to live somewhere nice (but not “luxury”) and also not contribute to gentrification by paying higher and higher rent”.
I’m juggling few other criteria, but it’s no wonder why the main demographic of cargo bike owners are parents living in single-family homes 🙃

MnGarden81As a non bike person, it can be a little intimidating to jump into the e-bike world. When I did two plus years ago, I went with the now discontinued RadMission. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and didn’t feel comfortable spending too much. It’s been great. Yesterday I put 15.6 miles on the wagon hauling kids, groceries and garden supplies. None of the cycling was done with efficiency in mind. So overnight I plugged it into my energy monitoring plug.
