Paul Watson détenu au Groenland : une injustice politique

Paul Watson, fondateur de Sea Shepherd, a été arrêté en juillet 2024 au Groenland. Alors qu’il se rendait dans le Pacifique Nord pour intercepter le baleinier géant japonais Kangei Maru, il y est détenu sous un mandat émis par le Japon pour des accusations datant de 14 ans. Watson dénonce cette arrestation comme politiquement motivée, car elle survient après ses actions contre la chasse à la baleine, illégale selon la Cour internationale de justice.
