The U.S. rulers carried out 47 human sacrifices last year in the hope they'd be blessed with public safety.

Whenever the sacrifices seem not to be working, the rulers frantically increase the number.

They keep nearly 2m humans in crowded holding pens — sometimes for decades — and choose the sacrificial victims from among them.

(If someone wrote about the west the same way the west wrote about colonised people.)

Sometimes I find myself annoyed by victim's families in true crime stories, cause so many act like the killer not being given the death penalty or being allowed to appeal their sentence on various grounds is some kind of miscarriage of justice rather than the justice system working as it should protecting basic rights.
