The glider canopy is installed on the front pivot, which means I was able to fit all the tubing and wires under the instrument panel's glare shield.

Making a foam template that matches the curvature/profile of the glider's canopy. This allows me to determine if I have room to position various antennae as I finish installing the last instrument in the panel.

Note the oblique angle of the canopy through which the pilot must look when watching the runway during takeoff and landing. You really want a smooth canopy shape with no ripples, or you get a distorted view.
