Cannon Films cleverly reused leftover scenes from abandoned He-Man and Spider-Man projects after those films were shelved. They initially poured $2 million into the venture and later boosted it with an additional $500K, ultimately reaping $10 million at the box office. #FilmHistory #MovieFacts #BehindTheScenes #CannonFilms #HeMan #movieswithfriends #Blumhouse #becomefriendswiththepod #becomingfriendswith #bfw #AIcaptionsnailedit

I see this Rambo film was co-produced by Nu Image (later Millennium), which was a partner/"successor" to Cannon FIlms (where a lot of people went to after Cannon went bust). They even made a mockbuster of Stallone's Cliffhanger, 'Freefall' starring Eric Roberts.

A movie that can capture my attention so quickly and easily and force me to have to study and pick apart every single thing in it to the point of near insanity is 1982's Hospital Massacre (aka X-Ray). It's a movie that is quite honestly mind-boggling.

You know what I haven’t had in a while?  The sudden urge to kill myself out of utter desperation. Er…  I mean a Cannon Films movie.  I…  Um.  That’s what’s I meant.  U…

The first time I reviewed a movie from the man, the myth, the legend, Charles Bronson, came way back in the 102nd review at B-Movie Enema. It was Assassination, but was it Ass Ass in this nation? (shit, not sure that landed, but whatever)

No, I haven't seen any documentaries about them. Maybe I'll have to go looking! Is there a particular one you'd recommend?

Looking briefly, it seems I have access to "The Go-Go Boys: The Inside Story of Cannon Films". Any good?

Following up on 1983's Hercules, Luigi Cozzi went right back to the well for Cannon Films and made a sequel. 1985's The Adventures of Hercules brought Lou Ferrigno back as Herc, but it really doesn't feel like a sequel to the first... other than they are both pretty bad.

The Adventures of Hercules (1985)

How do you follow up one bad movie? With another! Welcome to this week’s new B-Movie Enema article. Last week, I took a look at Luigi Cozzi’s attempt to revive the classic sword and san…

Luigi Cozzi's Hercules from 1983 is bonkers. I don't think there are enough words to cover its bonkers nature. It's a fun bad movie. Lou Ferrigno goes hard. He tosses a bear into space. Everything looks real bad. It's an all-timer bad flick.

Here’s the first of two more movies I’ve wanted to cover on B-Movie Enema for quite some time – 1983’s Hercules. This is Luigi Cozzi’s update of the 50s and 60s tradit…
