King Biscuit Boy and Crowbar were separate acts. They recorded an album, "Official Music," and went on a tour together. As far as I am aware, that was it. King Biscuit Boy With Crowbar was among the stars at a 1970 Canadian rock festival called Strawberry Fields, which is where I heard them. A splendid time was had by all.

Canadians may know each of these artists very well; but here in the United States, where the group, Ian and Sylvia, was very well known, this may seem to be Sylvia Tyson's vocal group. Please pardon our lack of knowledge.

Quartette is a bit like a threesome that I, personally, think of as "Trio": - Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, and Linda Ronstadt. That comparison is a very high compliment.

"The Circle" is the best cut on a really, really strong album. Five Stars for album and track

Aspiring guitarists ought to see this video. There is also one where Tommy Emmanuel discusses Lenny's playing. For awhile, what Emmanuel has to say is pretty ordinary; but then he kicks it into a higher gear. Patience with the Tommy Emmanuel video likely will be rewarded.

I once talked with Lenny's mother, Betty Cody, on the telephone. She was a real enthusiast. It is easy to see how she was such a big influence on her children.
