@NMBA When politicians commit crimes, let them be punished with the full weight of the law. Doesn't matter what party they're from, our leaders and those seeking to lead should show even more respect for the rules than the public at large.

As for the Alberta separatists, they should be thrown out of any party purporting to be conservative. It's hard to think of a less conservative policy than a plan to destroy Canada.

I hope that the Canadian government will be able to negotiate a beneficial extension to #CUSMA, and if they succeed than we'll have to give much credit to Prime Minister #MarkCarney. To be honest though, I don't expect that we'll reach a deal, and then it will only be fair to second-guess the PM's negotiating strategy.

@jfmezei @dyckron Yeah, the article demonstrates that #MarkCarney flatters Pres. Trump, sometimes saying things that aren't really true. But it doesn't make the case that the flattery is bad tactics, or suggest a different approach would bring better results.

(Avoiding the flattery might make us Canadians feel better about ourselves, but that shouldn't be the principal goal of our foreign policy.)
