The Chicken in freeze-dried meals isn't great. Instead, hop over to your Costco and get some of their leftover Roasted Chicken, cut it up, vacuum seal it then freeze it.

When you go to boil your water for your freeze-dried meals, thow the unopened vacuumed sealed pouch in the water to heat up.

Works great for veggies, too!

For safety, make sure your food remains cold until reheated.
