I completely despised the first Wyvern Tor I made, so I started making a new one from scratch, and it looks way less worse for my beginner cartographer eyes.

I recently got myself a license for #campaigncartographer 3 and just did the first part of the tutorial. It's weirdly nice reading the manual, I don't think I've had to use a manual for a program before (unless you count man pages) but that one is so well written, and so much better than the current standard of in software tutorials that you can only go through once

Regarding maps: there is this region I used to try learning Campaign Cartographer.
Instead of laying out the whole city as it is, I started with a road, a bridge, and a guard post.
Because of the toll, not all would pass, and one or two eventually stayed. The first house was build, a tavern appeared. A hunting cabin further into the woods...
