Si erano dati appuntamento nel quartiere di Mirafiori sud, a Torino, la sera del 7 giugno scorso, vittima e aggressori, quest’ultimi quattro, tutti di origine nordafricana e tra i 46 e i 36 anni , per concludere “affari” di non precisata natura. Durante l’incontro però, improvvisamente, i quattro uomini avrebbero inizialmente tentato di costringere la vittima, un cittadino 40enne del Camerun residente in Francia, a salire a bordo di un’autovettura. Al rifiuto opposto dall’uomo, lo avrebbero aggredito colpendolo ripetutamente con pugni e calci e utilizzando uno storditore elettrico.
L’aggressione, interrotta solo grazie all’intervento di una residente affacciatasi dalla finestra allarmata delle grida, aveva permesso al gruppo di impossessarsi di diversi effetti personali, tra cui 270 euro, documenti di identità, carta di credito, monili d’oro e il telefono cellulare, per poi darsi alla fuga. Il quarantenne, dopo essere stato dimesso dall’ospedale con 7 giorni di prognosi, era successivamente rientrato in Francia, mentre i carabinieri, coordinati dalla Procura, hanno da subito avviato le indagini analizzando le immagini delle telecamere di videosorveglianza, raccogliendo testimonianze ed effettuando analisi tecniche che hanno portato gli investigatori a raccogliere gravi indizi di colpevolezza nei confronti dei quattro persone per i quali il gip del la Tribunale di Torino ha disposto la custodia cautelare in carcere. Nel corso delle indagini, i militari hanno inoltre constatato che uno dei quattro avrebbe anche tentato di effettuare un acquisto online con la carta di credito della vittima. Durante l’esecuzione dell’ordinanza, notificata nelle settimane scorse, i carabinieri hanno rinvenuto e sequestrato, nell’abitazione di uno degli indagati, uno storditore elettrico ritenuto compatibile con quello utilizzato durante il pestaggio.

They had arranged to meet in the Mirafiori Sud district of Turin, Italy, on the evening of June 7th, where the victim and the perpetrators, four in number, all of North African origin and between the ages of 36 and 46, were to conclude unspecified “business dealings.” During the meeting, however, the four men suddenly attempted to force the victim, a 40-year-old Cameroonian resident in France, to board a vehicle. Upon the man’s refusal, they attacked him repeatedly with punches and kicks and used an electric stun gun.
The aggression was only interrupted thanks to the intervention of a resident who had looked out of her window, alarmed by the screams, allowing the group to seize several personal items, including €270, identity documents, a credit card, gold jewelry, and a mobile phone, before fleeing. The 40-year-old, after being discharged from the hospital with a 7-day prognosis, subsequently returned to France, while the Carabinieri (Italian military police), coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, immediately launched an investigation, analyzing surveillance camera footage, collecting testimonies, and conducting technical analyses that led investigators to gather serious evidence of guilt against the four individuals for whom the judge for preliminary hearings (GIP) of the Turin Tribunal ordered precautionary custody in jail. During the investigation, the military personnel also noted that one of the four had also attempted to make an online purchase with the victim’s credit card. During the execution of the order, issued in recent weeks, the Carabinieri found and seized, in the home of one of the suspects, an electric stun gun considered compatible with the one used during the assault.
