Overview The City of Cameron is a community in and the county seat of Milam County, Texas, along Routes 77 and 190 with access to the communities of Rockdale and Milano to the south and southeast, respectively. The latter are communities located along Route 79, while the entire area is relatively rural outside the inner municipalities. Within Cameron, however, are the Milam County Railroad and Historical Jail Museums.
