I photographed this very pretty pigeon (the one in the background is not too shabby either) on Pierrepoint and Cadman Plaza West at the border of Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn. The late afternoon August sun adds to the photo. I wrote a bit about the find in an article.
