Marketing like this just makes you look stupid. Take some nice pictures of your dirt pile trucks or what have you and use that! Honest, relevant and dirty cheap even without GenAi!

Why do so many smart people still use GenAI pictures?
I see lots of REALLY GOOD linux related blogposts with REALLY DUMB GenAi pics here in fediverse. Or even privacy advocates who use generic GenAI pics as filler!

Analytical Ai. Actually some good use cases:
-Medical image analysis
-smart grid optimization
-Crop yield forecasting
-Etc...
There can be bad use cases like:
-mass survailance analysis
-healthcare data analysis that prevents people getting insurances
-etc...
Generative Ai...
-no can't think any good use cases that would not just end up users getting dumber in the process.
-any art, text, music, email, customer service is a human job. GenAI would only make them worse.

I heard one mediocre digital artist explain that "ai is a way to get reference material".

Other thing is that AiSlop is too precise and thus tends to aim everything in more generic direction. By removing messyness and change encounters of inspiration you are just limiting your self as an artist...
I just published my website and made a promise to my self to make that first blogpost there + make further adjustments to the site as per my friends input.

Seriously. I like my job and all overwork is fully in my controll and compensates very well. Better not to stress and hurry. Writing is a thinking with letters, better to take its time :)
