I’ve done everything I wanted to do today. Had a wonderful swim at the pool for an hour or so. Dropped into the SES on the way home & they gave me a dozen bags to put sand in that my son in law will fill for me. I’ll only need half filled probably though. Got home & changed clothes to head out & visit my sister in hospital to learn she’s being discharged today, which is great but no resolution to her problems which is mainly due to chronic conditions, her age etc. I also know it’s very likely to keep happening.
Stopped in at Dan Murphy on the way home to grab a bottle of wine for the weekend & then to the local greengrocers for some fresh veg & salad stuff. Nearly 2pm before I got home for a small lunch of a crumpet with Vegemite to tide me over until dinner.
Satisfied with the day & pretty weary now. #BusyDay.

Good morning tooters. A fairly good sleep last night & windy when I went to bed so couldn’t have the windows wide open due to flapping blinds 😏. Still I was comfortable enough & it seems to have lifted the humidity somewhat. 20c when I got up at 6.30, humidity is now in the low 60’s & ok, heading to 29c today. Rain is apparently still around & there may be a storm this evening. So far it looks ok on the radar.
I’ve even stripped & washed the sheets from my bed, remade with lovely fresh ones which will be nice after the humid nights we’ve had. Also washed the towels & cloths I had to use to clean up some of the mess that I’d tracked into the house after the garage & garden flooding. I’m going to mop today too I think.
First up though, have shower & get dressed & ring to see if I can get my eyelashes dealt with again. Also off to the recycle shop again with a few other things & then that part of it is done. A friend has offers to put the old child’s car seat I have in her skip. Then off to Bunnings to buy that door fly mesh screen.
Feels like it’ll be another busy day for me, but should be finished by lunchtime I think.
