My take on #BurnsSupper.

Haggis is hard to find in my Canadian province, despite the very high proportion of people here with Scottish origins. Every year I say I'm going to plan ahead and order one, but I'm terrible at planning and every year I end up not making dinner at all.

This year I just forged ahead with a shredded roast beef instead, and it turned out lovely. Pictured here with neaps & tatties and a whisky gravy.

Für das Burns Supper habe ich es mir einfach gemacht und auf einen Haggis im Glas zurück gegriffen. Der war dieses Mal aus deutscher Herstellung und war tatsächlich sehr fein.
Dazu gab es neben dem Rohkostsalat ein Steckrüben-Kartoffelstampf.
