BurgerDisk/DominoDisk firmware v2.6 is available, adding support for DOS3.3-ordered .dsk images. (of ProDOS volumes, of course). No need to rewrite .dsk images to .po images anymore, but this comes with a performance penalty as DOS3.3-ordered images require to "cut" ProDOS blocks in two sectors, seek twice, and read/write twice.

All devices on my shop at https://colino.net/wordpress/shop/ now ship with that firmware.

My web shop is open with BurgerDisk and DominoDisk in stock: Apple II SD-based Smartport hard drives that don't make you choose between modern storage and floppy drives.

Now that I am not worried about having enough connectors for my #BurgerDisk device, I am instead worried that everybody who wanted one got theirs, and nobody else likes it, and one day, I'll die and be inhumated with my 300 unused connectors 🤡
I love my brain sometimes. /s

Second, the electronics stores are much less greedy than eBay sellers, and were selling their 20-years-old stock at a normal price for a stupid connector instead of 10-20€, so I can now drop 10€ of the price of the #BurgerDisk and #DominoDisk !

With the extraordinary help of @alexeystar in Serbia and @kf in Estonia, I have managed to find about 300 female connectors in total for the #BurgerDisk / #DominoDisk. These devices are very international, with the PCB from China, male connectors from USA, and female connectors from *checks notes* Serbia, Estonia, Hungary, Lithunia, North Macedonia and Germany.
This should be more than enough so that everyone with an Apple II and a need for a daisy-chainable hard drive can have one!

The last phase of the #Burgerdisk kickstarter project has started!
More Apple II chainable hard drives?

The upgraded microsd modules are very satisfying. Now you don't need nails or spoons to insert or eject them!
