Ieri è stata ancora #BoardGameNight, al locale che settimanalmente dedica tutta la serata ai giochi da tavolo.

Ci siamo presi la rivincita a #BunnyKingdom, io e @joy_d_joy giocando assieme perché eravamo troppə, e abbiamo vinto.

Poi #Heat (in foto) in cui ho vinto grazie anche all'esperienza con #FormulaDe per computer.

Interessante anche #NoThanks: obiettivo semplice ma con strategie che ancora devo capire.

Infine #Celestia, sempre bello, in cui ha vinto un amico alla sua prima esperienza.

Finalmente serata #giochidatavolo con prima partita a #BunnyKingdom, malamente conclusa all'ultimo posto contro gente con più esperienza.

Belle dinamiche di gioco, mi sono fatto fregare dalla voglia di collegare tutto: meglio avere più territori con risorse diverse.

I'd recommend playing it with three or four players, however, because it is not half as good with two.
The draft is a lot meaner, since instead of keeping two cards you pick one and discard the other, which never has a chance to come up again. So the players keep waiting for cards to show up, which their opponent knows will not appear.
I like seeing the map fill up, knowing every card is going to get played, and I might just get the one I need. At the end of a 2p game, half the map is empty.

A recent surprise: Bunny Kingdom is a rare game of drafting and area control, without combat or war!
The rules are streamlined and easy to grasp, the game flows very well and I imagine it could be a good introduction to these mechanisms if the players are new to the hobby. The illustrations are pretty and there is a lot of humor both in the names and the illustrations themselves.

Now onto #boardgames:

- #Santorini: a cute strategy game, makes me wanna travel more than anything else

- #LetterJam: we played this word game in #Finnish, kept it simple so I wasn't at too much of a disadvantage 😁

- #LostInRlyeh: while I like the #Lovecraft theme, this game is just ok. I could play it again if there's nothing else (i.e. not gonna happen)

- #BunnyKingdom: one of my Christmas gifts, still in shrink wrap. Need to find some time to conquer the bunny world!
