As I ditched Apple Photos, I’m cooking up a Photo Catalog macOS App: https://git.luedicke.cloud/jens/photo-catalog

It is currently somewhat usable for filtering/reviewing/trashing image files. Supports XMP sidecars and caches generated thumbnails and previews.

It has no editing features, and no cloud storage support either.

That question kicked off the wild ride that became BreachMap. I built a tool that maps real-world breaches by location and sector - It visualises risk in ways everyone can understand - whether you're a solopreneur, small business, an MSP, or a security pro.
It gives your security awareness local relevance, not just generic noise. It started as a curiosity project, but turned in to something I needed to finish.

I started a new side project: a clock that shows the remaining time until a selected target time. It is meant to help my kid to see how much time is left until we have to leave. Not sure if this will work, but we will see… #swiftlang #builtinpublic #iosdev

App Reviews now includes smart labels for incoming reviews.

This will help you to and group all of your incoming reviews and should make it much easier to spot trends in you review data.

I'm planning to join the #indiedevs club. Next week, I'll be leaving my 9-to-5 job to see if I can build an app from scratch and launch it, at least the MVP, so I can one day tell my grandchildren that I was an indie dev.
