For one of its most recent releases, Tlaloc Records presents Argentine producer Martin Villalba, born in Buenos Aires and connected to music from an early age through his interest in different instruments and compositional forms. Founded in 2017 as an event platform, DETEKTED became a driving force for underground artists within the Argentine electronic scene. In 2024, the project expanded its vision through the creation of DTKTD Records, carrying that same curatorial energy into a label format.

Its new compilation, BASEMENT TOOLS, operates like a partial map of contemporary techno tensions. The release moves through raw, hypnotic, groove-heavy territory while absorbing influences from UK garage, dubstep, and other strands of club-oriented electronic music. It also introduces new artists into the label’s orbit, including Merlina, Agustina Alcober, MAGEM, Mxrtin (AR), Jeremy LP, D MONSH, and Ramiro Koaz.

Among them appears D MONSH, a producer and DJ whose practice has evolved through techno, drum & bass, UK garage, and dubstep. His contribution, “No Hay Techo,” brings a distinct energy into the compilation: sustained pressure, mental tension, and a rhythmic sensibility that gradually reshapes the atmosphere of the dancefloor.

La asamblea vuelve a surgir en diciembre del 2020 con la asuncion de este gobierno, pero se origino en el 2001 y resurgio en otros momentos importantes del barrio, por ejemplo en 2018 cuando se intento hacer un falso entubamiento del arroyo maldonado, conflicto que ganaron lxs vecinxs via asamblea y movilizacion .

Nos juntamos todos los domingos a hablar y resolver cuestiones de coyuntura nacional, internacional y especificos del barrio. Tambien hacemos ciclos de cine debate en el parque, futbol y un monton de actividades mas. Una vez por mes tenemos asamblea debate.

¿Sabían que el Palacio Barolo de Buenos Aires fue diseñado íntegramente como un homenaje arquitectónico a la Divina Comedia de Dante Alighieri?

Inaugurado en 1923 sobre la Avenida de Mayo, este edificio fue un encargo del empresario textil Luis Barolo al arquitecto italiano Mario Palanti. La estructura se divide en tres secciones principales que representan el Infierno, el Purgatorio y el Paraíso, siguiendo la estructura del poema. La planta baja cuenta con nueve bóvedas de acceso que simbolizan los nueve pasos de iniciación y las jerarquías infernales descritas por Dante. Incluso su altura de cien metros coincide con el número de cantos de la obra original, mientras que los veintidós pisos corresponden a la métrica de los versos utilizados en el poema.

En la cúspide del edificio se encuentra un faro giratorio de trescientas mil bujías que, en su momento de mayor esplendor, era visible desde las costas de Uruguay. Este elemento representa el Empíreo o el punto más alto del cielo, donde el poeta alcanza la visión divina. El Palacio Barolo no solo fue el primer edificio de hormigón armado de gran escala en Argentina, sino que también ostentó el título del más alto de América del Sur hasta la década de 1930. Su construcción respondió al deseo de Barolo de preservar las cenizas y el legado de Dante en suelo argentino, ante el temor de que los conflictos bélicos en Europa pudieran destruir los monumentos históricos del viejo continente.
