Ive been talking to a few folks about the "Walk for Peace" making it to my part of the United States soon. www.dhammacetiya.com/walk-for-peace
Ive found it hopeful and a pleasant thing to think about. AND even wondered if it would make sense with work and life, for me to position myself to see it.
Ive been frankly startled by the number of folks ive known who have gone "I hope no one physically assaults them."
NOT that I don't think we should care for their physical safetly. BUT I found the idea of assaulting a number of budhist monks walking for peace.. completely alien.
LIKE it literally did not occur to me anyone could find this offensive ?
