Too busy with work to do any sewing at the moment, so here's a throwback to a jacket I made in 2001 for a friend. Pardon the quality of the photosーthey were taken over 20 years ago.
The cinch buckle was self-made, and the rivets and buttons were early models from @Kenji .
I wonder if this jacket still exists somewhere…

1870s Orr pantaloon overall project in collaboration with Dean Hashimoto.

The first pair is all done! Next, I'll take detailed measurements, wash them, and take the measurements again after shrinkage.
Then, I'll send them to Dean for comparison with the original 1870s pair so we can check what adjustments are needed for the second pair, which will be made out of a very special denim.

My project for the New Year holidays is to make a faithful replica of this WW2-era Montgomery Ward 101 jacket.
I bought this jacket new-old-stock about 20 years ago, and it is still in its original raw condition.
I plan to make a nearly exact replica, except for the size and the hardware, as it's almost impossible to find the exact same parts.
The buttons, rivets and cinch buckle are all generic and made of copper-plated steel.
