Not that anyone asked to see it, but this is my left thumb. The circle encompasses the bruise ~ that I still have no idea how it got there. To the right of the purpura mark is swollen and very hard. 😮

I'm a light sleeper ~ I would have felt it if I had hurt my hand overnight. 😠

The right thumb started hurting Friday evening and has only gotten worse. The cause for that is the tenosynovitis ... that I can't get a steroid shot for until May. 😭
