So my #BrooksSaddle broke. It ripped at the nose rivets. I contacted brooks and they were not willing to send a new leather top, so i've made my own. I've never done any leather work before, and i found it quite rewarding.
If they have a posh video on YouTube with the bearded hipster wearing a corduroy shirt to demonstrate it to you, it's going to be easy.
If they don't have one, there be dragons.

Just spent 1.5h to replace the tension pin of my #BrooksSaddle. It's doable but better not try doing this on a new saddle that has not been stretched a bit already.
Latest bike saddle update: the pet dog here was licking his lips and thinking about licking the bike saddle π
Note: this just has Proofide and a little extra bees wax in it, and he does not look bees wax. So, apparently, Proofide smells edible, LOL. I am about to take it on a short ride to see how it goes, if the dog start sniffing my pants.... #BrooksSaddle
