Broke a spoke mid ride. Found out my multitool wasn't in the saddle bag as expected and had to seek for help to get an allen key to disconnect the rear brake cable. First rider I asked, she just plain ignored me. Second rider answer to me with a dismissive gesture. Thanksfully at third attempt I was successful and met a friendly couple who lent me their multitool.

People are becoming more and more individualistic these days. A decade ago, you would get help even before you ask for it.

Turns out a wide bladed spoke is super annoying to bend and secure around another one.

Funny contrast between the locals wearing winter jackets while some super white tourists were sunbathing in swimsuit and even getting into the cold water.
