I've had wind-harvests before - plants I only cut because the wind (or falling branches) knocked them over - but today was my first-ever earthquake harvest! Going to have a lot of cuttings up for sale soon, probably the most I've ever had. Some so I can pay bills, and some so I can donate to the occupied people of Gaza.

Largest cutting I've ever cut! I don't like chopping my cacti, but the wind bent this one over, and it wasn't standing back up.

36 inches of Verne's Long-Spined Bridgesii on sale for $175 + shipping. Sourced from Verne of Trichocereus.com (RIP) in 2020. In his words, "Long spine ones were from seed sold by Succseed.com or from Karel Knize before he stopped shipping viable seed. This is the #ChristmasCactus that I #propagated from #cuttings 2 yrs ago. It's doing well! 3rd time it's given multiple full #blooms this year ๐Ÿฅฐ It is really easy to propagate. I recommend trying that out to get more plants without buying more. I'm huge on frugal indoor & outdoor gardening. We have 3 plants that I propagated from 1 mother plant.

This is one of the few #cultivated #plants which aren't toxic to cats or dogs - many are toxic to pets, if ingested.
