On the 13th of March 2020: African American #BreonnaTaylor shot and killed by police officers executing a no-knock warrant on her flat with a battering ram in Louisville, Kentucky.

Never forget #BreonnaTaylor

Recently I saw, I think in The Marshall Report, that the administration is allowing no knock raids again. We just absolutely refuse to learn any lessons as a society

Mar. 13, 2020 | Louisville Police Kill Breonna Taylor During Nighttime No-Knock Raid

Learn more about our history of racial injustice.

26-year-old Black paramedic #BreonnaTaylor was killed by #police who broke into her home #ThisDayInHistory in 2020. They blind-fired 20 times, hit her with five, offered no aid as she bled out, then filed a fake report listing no injuries.
It can't be reformed; #AbolishThePolice.

Six years ago, a life full of promise was taken in the place she should have been safest, her own home.

#BreonnaTaylor spent her days caring for others as an EMT, yet the system meant to serve and protect failed to care for her in return.

We say her name not only in grief, but in commitment to a world where Black women are protected and free to live.

Rest in power, Breonna.

Following Taylor’s death, the US limited no-knock warrants. But the Trump administration has quietly rescinded those limits

Trump Makes FATAL Mistake QUIETLY AXING KEY Policy

#Trump law-lackey and Deputy #AG, #ToddBlanche, quietly rescinded a Biden-era #DOJ policy requiring approval for “#NoKnock” searches of homes that was put into place after the murder of #BreonnaTaylor. #KatiePhang on why this terrible decision will lead to more deaths at the hands of law enforcement

The Ten Commandments can be displayed in Classrooms in Illinois, USA — a 5th Circuit Court Judge made the judicial Decision and set such malformed and #unconstitutional #Precedent.

A federal Judge blocked the installation of Images of the #enslaved _Persons_, whom George #Washington (1st President of the USA) owned as Property; the Sentiment for the Blockage of recognizing the Histories of the People(s) of the USA: it would "disparage" the Public. (FFS! The Descendants of the enslaved Persons ARE OUR PEOPLE TODAY! It is not only disparaging to them to willfully ignore their historic #Abuse and #Maltreatment, but also a disgrace to our Nation, especially to those whom wish to repair the Great Chasm that was built by Racists.)

The Names of the Dead from a Landslide in California, USA were read on public Radio in New York, USA. I have yet to hear the Names of #BreonnaTaylor or #GeorgeFloyd on the radio. Oh, and the Governor of #California knows some of the Dead personally; maybe despotic influence has had a say in whose Lives are remembered and recalled to the Public.

EDIT: "knowns" -> "knows".

Orders to investigate the victim, not the shooter! ..."the administration has prevented prosecutors from doing their work. The administration has repeatedly reversed positions on cases that the section has spent years litigating." #RenéeGood #BreonnaTaylor www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

"Federal judge dismisses Louisville police reform agreement spurred by Breonna Taylor’s death

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A federal judge in Kentucky has dismissed Louisville’s proposed settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice over police reforms after the department withdrew its support of the plan earlier this year.

The Justice Department announced in May it was canceling proposed consent decrees with Louisville and Minneapolis that sought to curb police racial bias and abuses after the killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor that spurred nationwide protests in the summer of 2020.

U.S. District Judge Benjamin Beaton wrote in a Dec. 31 ruling that 'the responsibility to lead the Louisville Metro Police Department in compliance with federal law must remain with the city’s elected representatives and the people they serve.'

A judge in May dismissed Minneapolis’ proposed consent decree, which places a federal officer in charge of tracking the progress of reforms laid out in the agreement."

Louisville's police reform settlement with US Department of Justice dismissed

A federal judge in Kentucky has dismissed Louisville’s proposed settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice. The agreement, called a consent decree, was meant to trigger police reforms. But the Department of Justice withdrew its support for those proposed reforms in Louisville and Minneapolis in May. The reform plans were brought by the DOJ during the Biden administration and were spurred by the police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor in 2020. Federal Judge Benjamin Beaton wrote in a ruling this week that Louisville's police reforms should be conducted without federal involvement.
