When the movie Brave aired in 2012, I was sitting there in the cinema and immediately fell in love with it within the first five seconds! And over all these years, Merida was such a great inspiration to me, not only in my artworks, but also in my life. She encouraged me to be brave, to leave the usual ways, to quit following the mainstream and most importantly, she taught me what my freedom actually means to me. Thank you, you little stubborn redhead, and also you, Brenda Chapman, for changing my life to the better. I really hope I can shake your hand one day!
