Yesterday I went to a moving sale of an older couple who are selling a bunch of their plants in addition to house stuff. Auntie wasn't quite ready to part with a number of her beloveds (I understand), but she did sell me this stunning brassia for only $10.

It's a very large plant, and the blooms are taller than my hand! If this plant was at an orchid show, she could've gotten $50-100 for it.

She had a beautiful garden though. Lots of very well-developed plants. Some anthuriums that were taller than me. She mentioned they're going to do another moving sale in a month and I'm thinking of asking her to sell me a bunch of cuttings then. I'll keep my eye out for the craigslist post 🤔
