Just saw "The US has a new favorite dog breed" and knew what it was before I even clicked. (French bulldog)

If you must have a #brachycephalic (short-faced) #dog like a Frenchie, PLEASE get one with the longest nose possible and nostrils that are round, not slits. And one born by natural birth, not by c-section because pups' heads were too big for mom's pelvis. If we want these breeds to keep existing we need to make sure they can have normal, comfortable lives by breeding ethically (for health, not looks).
