Guerric HachéA very cool find! I spotted this termite (Zootermopsis spp.) the other day with a little springtail (Cheirotoma spp.) riding along its back. Apparently those springtails are known to be phoretic, i.e. hitchhikers, on termites.

I used to be very scared of spiders; nowadays I'm fine with most of them, and I actually love jumping spiders. They're just so cute. This little one (Phidippus johnsoni) checked me out while I was out doing photography the other day.

Took the 3pm 257 bus and just barely made it on the 3:55pm ferry to #BowenIsland (there’s a 10minute cut off and the bus arrives at like 3:44pm).
Standing on the main deck for the crossing. Car overload ahead of the long weekend.
Today I’m doing a test commute from #BowenIsland to @z-space.ca
Started at 7:03am at my parents place on Foxglove lane.
Across the road and along the forest path that comes out on Cardena road.
At the ferry dock by 7:13am.
