It's good to see the former Central Thread Agency buildings on Bothwell Street in Glasgow starting to emerge from behind the scaffolding after a substabtial renovation. Designed by Hugh and David Barclay in a Free Renaissance style, they were built in the 1890s and early 1900s.

Late 1880s commercial building on Bothwell Street in central Glasgow. Designed by Robert Ewan, it was originally built for the merchants and ship owners James and Alexander Allan. Just a beautiful building with nice clean lines, and of course finished off with the domes so typical of many older Glaswegian buildings.
