The prompt for day 1 is 'Link'. In mathematics, a link is any arrangement of some number of loops in space. Mathematicians are interested in how the loops can be tangled together. A simple example of a link is a single loop with any knot tied in it. Another example is the Borromean rings. These three loops cannot be separated from each other even though no two of the loops are linked without the third.

When you juggle three balls, the balls trace out the Borromean rings in spacetime.

I've got a couple of @pixel_dailies here for #loop and #cookies, taking some particular inspiration from #BorromeanRings and #YoshisCookie. I hope Thursday is treating you all well!

The prompt for day 12 is 'Twist'.

Take a tetrahedron with strips for edges, and give each of them a twist. The resulting shape has the Borromean Rings as its edges. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borromean_rings)

Borromean rings - Wikipedia

I just saw a tweet about Borromean rings which reminded me of my picture (β€œBorromean Spirals”).

It is one of the first pieces of art that I sent to #JMM.

Do you have any opinions as to whether or not it is reasonable to consider them Borromean?
