The game’s coming along nicely, and I’m locking in the sweet spot between grounded history, hardboiled noir, and magick. That balance is the key and it’s starting to sing.

Been enjoying this research, reading, and diving deeper into the world. Soon I’ll be shifting gears into Phase 2 playtester feedback… which should be a blast in a very different way. 😄🎲

I’ve been thinking a lot about the books I enjoyed as a kid and feeling the pull to revisit them. So I’m kicking things off with a classic: The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury. 📚✨

Reading Dennis’s Unnatural Engine ruleset this morning and I’m once again struck by his design sense. It’s clean, crisp, and concise, everything exactly where it needs to be. 📚🎲
