#fediverse please help. I have run out of long space-opera scifi series to read. I am judgemental, picky about good editing, and demand substance. I've read all of Niven and Pournelle, all of Old Man's War, I'm almost up to date on spinward fringe. I could not get in to Alliance-Union. The Culture was a bit too ethereal. Starfire was fantastic. My preference is for hard or semi hard (hyuk hyuk) fiction, preferably a little militaristic.
