Finished "The Rose Field" (Book of Dust 3). A great story but I'm not overly happy with the ending. I know reality often leaves loose ends, but I feel there are too many pieces unresolved. Maybe there will be a fourth book in the trilogy (like HHGTTG).

I’m rereading the entire His Dark Materials/Book of Dust saga in chronological order and it’s such brilliant, relentless storytelling. But listen to this - “The evening sky was awash with peach, apricot, cream: tender little ice-cream clouds in a wide orange sky.” His writing is peppered with little jewels. #PhillipPullman #HisDarkMaterials #BookOfDust #reading
