Bongo Fever Jack Costanzo At The Garden Of Allah by Jack Costanzo, released on Liberty in 1959.

One of the best albums ever by Mr. Bongo! This one was recorded live at the Garden Of Allah, and it features Jack Costanzo leading up a tight little group of congas/bass/drums/piano, plus some nice tenor work by Jay Corre. Tracks include "Garden Of Allah Bongo", "La Cumparasa", "Birk's Works", "Quiere", and "Bongo Fever". A very tasty bit of Latin jazz, with a sound that's more stripped down and percussive than some of Jack's other LPs! - Dusty Groove

Bongo Madness by Don Ralke And Buddy Collette, released on Crown Records in 1957.

Ambient Exotica wrote:

Bongo Madness is to this day a successful take on the then rising market of Afro Jazz or Cuban Jazz. However, it also blends exquisitely with the Exotica genre due to Collette’s effervescent flute melodies and the bold bongo and conga percussion that is used on all of the ten tracks. Don Ralke’s three compositions are specifically worth noting, my favorite being Noche In Havana due to its dreamy painting of a nocturnal peaceful landscape near the capitol. But Don Tosti’s Bellezo Y Diablo is equally outstanding due to its gloomy bass sequences that is foreshadowing an omnipresent calamity.

Bravo! Brubeck! is a 1967 live album by Dave Brubeck and his quartet, recorded during their tour of Mexico. The quartet were augmented by Chamin Correa on guitar, and the bongo and conga player Salvador Agüero (Rabito). It was released in 1967.

The album was reviewed by Scott Yanow at Allmusic who wrote that "One of the better Dave Brubeck LPs from the later period of the Quartet with altoist Paul Desmond, this set is unusual in that it only contains one Brubeck original. ...The results are melodic but swinging treatments of a variety of famous themes" - Wikipedia

Broadway, Bongos and Mr. B is a 1961 studio album by the American singer Billy Eckstine. It was arranged by Hal Mooney, and marked Eckstine's return to Roulette Records.[2] The album features Latin tinged arrangements of popular Broadway show tunes, with a percussion section of xylophones, marimbas and bongos.[3]

In their July 1961 review of Broadway, Bongos and Mr. B, Billboard magazine wrote that "This is one of the best albums made by Billy Eckstine in many years", and that he was "singing with confidence again in his own style". The review concluded that it was "A strong new album that could help win back many of Mr. B's fans". - Wikipedia

Strolled through Toulouse🇫🇷 last night and stumbled on something unexpected—a man tuning bongos with a blowtorch. 🔥🥁 He’d hit the drum, then blast it with fire, switching back and forth.
