In a personal level, recently at one of my bondage workshops somebody reminded me of the sentence: you grow up to be the person you needed most around.
so I made my bondage workshops, which are far from perfection, such: places where we decide together in an assembly what to learn, what we need, what is the time management, where people can be slow, refuse eye contact, be blunt, have meltdowns, cry, be weird.

maybe that is why I made my bondage workshops, which are far from perfection, such: places where we decide together in an assembly what to learn, the time management, where people can be slow if they need. not your out of the shelf comercial one-size-fits-all event.

where people can for a moment, not be efficient nor functional, can cry, have meltdowns, or just be their precious, unique, probably weird for some, selves.

I make the space I now realised I missed and still miss for me. there are very few places I feel I can have that.

So yeah, let's make those places, normalise that humans, with or without disabilities, queer or not, have needs, and that sometimes, more often than not, we can acomodate needs. from a space of wanting, and not from having to.

and some needs will seem weird. but that is not for us to judge. what I learnt, is that a lot of needs and accomodations don't cost money nor a lot of energy to implement.

even if the events are not exactly full, I think they are very needed.
