Ridge really is a jerk and a player in the first season. He’s engaged to Caroline, yet he’s meeting with Alex, talking about their past relationship, and how much fun they could still have. Bill has every right to worry about his daughter.
I love that when Caroline first talks to Kristen on the phone, she convinces her to come home so that she can attend her wedding to Ridge. Kristen is so moved by Caroline’s request that she agrees, even though she and Stephanie are on shaky ground.
