After not one, not two, but THREE attempts at the new rug, we HAVE A WINNER! Halo has so decreed it.

Went to unroll the latest attempt on top of the old to see if I liked it before pulling the old rug up yet again. This is exactly how far I got before Halo came in and firmly proclaimed that this one is NOT going anywhere.

I was trying to go with a new look or design but... in the end... decided why mess with perfection? So! Meet the new rug... Same as the old rug. They're both handmade wool Bokhara rugs from Pakistan (altho this one is *brand* *new* which is crazy as my old one is.. I dunno. Maybe 50 yards old?? I kind of want to rough the new one up just a tiny bit, but oooh so plush and soft and beautiful vibrant - check out the BLUE in the new one too!).🧞‍♀️
