The surprise benefit of living on a hill is that when it’s cold and forecast calls for rain you actually get snow which is so much better to run in especially when it isn’t quite cold enough to stick to the ground. And running with River makes the cold, wind, and snow better.

Finally got out for a run with River today. It’s been too long. Between being injured, slow recovery, and trying to build back consistency there wasn’t a good fit. But today’s planned run fit perfectly fit both of us. She was so excited.
