Another thing on my list to figure out before June: how to give away a few hundred #BoardGames. We're going to keep some, but we don't need nearly this many.

If anyone knows of a #BoardGameCafe or similar who could use an injection of board games, and is on the West Coast, connect us.

If we can arrange it before I leave for my road trip in a few weeks, I may even be able to just drop them off pretty much anywhere in CA, OR, or WA.

Fun fact: this was my first time at any sort of #BoardGameCafe/restaurant myself. They had a great selection to choose from, so I didn't have to haul anything from home!

I decided to pick two fun games that are more accessible during our time together: #SushiGo and #TicketToRide (New York). I had a few more games on the shortlist, such as #Pandemic (Hot Zone: North America) and #Carcassonne, but the first two we picked ended up taking our time together.

Middletown (CT) has a new board game cafe - Back Again Board Game Cafe!

I finally had time sometime to go inside and meet one of the owners, and I cannot recommend this place enough. The game selection is truly remarkable, the space is welcoming and very central, and the owners are knowledgeable and quite lovely.

@SamanthaJaneSmith there's a great game called One Key that works beautifully at 2. One of you is giving clues and the other is verbally explaining what they mean to them so the clue giver can give better clues.. it's all about explaining and listening well... works well in a group too. I recommend this at the #boardgamecafe I work at for couples all the time who want to work together. Also check out Escape the Dark Castle or the Unlock! games... the latter is a set of escape rooms in a box.
