Bitchat startet auf iOS:
Jack Dorseys Bluetooth-Messenger bringt dezentrale Kommunikation

Jack Dorsey’s Mesh Network Bets on Decentralization

I'm diving into Bluetooth Mesh (using Zephyr) and… the more I read about it, the more I like it.

I feel like it's widely misunderstood, just like BLE is. People tend to have a knee-jerk reaction to the Bluetooth name: "waaah, my $2 headset never works!".

I also worry that it won't get much adoption, because it looks complex. But it is well designed, and for things like lighting, you can't avoid the complexity, or you'll end up with WiFi-based toys.

The team of summer students I had this year at #NordicSemiconductor wrote a blog post that explains the technical details of the project they worked on: a multi-robot fighting game!

Seems feasible to join #PinePhone and #PineTime in a #BluetoothMesh... So PineTime @PINE64 will have mesh access to the internet yay! Just replace Raspberry Pi by PinePhone in this article (and nRF52 by PineTime): https://medium.com/@ly.lee/bluetooth-mesh-with-nrf52-and-apache-mynewt-44823407c471?source=friends_link&sk=ac433fa04e13f75985927c37db1e2b10

A gentle introduction with fifty shades of fabulous models

I'm targeting the open-source Apache #NimBLE Stack, which runs on #ZephyrIoT, #RIOT_OS and #Mynewt OS. Here's my problem statement... There must be an easier way to code #BluetoothMesh! https://gist.github.com/lupyuen/0db460687b5aea48885ab7859fda17cc
