đŸ€– Ah, yes, another #GitHub masterpiece that promises to revolutionize #communication with a mishmash of buzzwords like "Bluetooth LE" and "Reticulum." 🙄 Because clearly, what the world needs is yet another over-engineered app that only three people will ever actually use. 🚀

I am almost finished writing this #HomeAssistant integration with my bed that takes #BluetoothLE commands for its various functions. It's I guess super niche so I wonder if it's a waste of time to release it to the public. You need an #ESP32 somewhere in range of the bed. I'm pretty sure this will only work with my specific model of bed and I mean what are the odds anyone else using home automation even has it/wants to go through the trouble? #bluetooth #programming #coding

Over the past couple of days I've been quietly working on and adding support for a new device (OVERMAX Touch 2.6) to Gadgetbridge... and today I've seen the first tangible results!

I waited a bit to post anything about it as I wasn't sure if I'd even be able to do it (it is my first BTLE RE project!) but while there's still stuff to be done, I've got to a point where I'm rather confident I can at least reach some basic level of support

The watch itself isn't exactly a popular model iirc, but its companion app is not even available on the Play Store anymore (and it's rather sketchy too if you ask me) so having it supported on @gadgetbridge is already a big plus due to that!

(Btw that's my SO's smartwatch, in fact that's what made me start this project to begin with... and doing something that will help them is more than enough of a reason for me to keep going!   )

Auracast – Stand EUHA 2025

Microsoft is introducing a "digital headphone splitter" to Windows 11, letting two people watch a movie on one laptop with their own wireless headphones. #Microsoft #Windows11 #BluetoothLE #BluetoothLEAudio

Windows 11 now lets you connect two Bluetooth headsets at the same time

It’s the “digital headphone splitter” we've been waiting for, but it’s also the first small step toward a future where audio is broadcast all around us.
