My kids grew up watching Blue's Clues. Steve became a safe place - someone who made space, who looked you in the eye, who didn't place any expectations on you in return... There were a lot of GenX parents who needed that as badly as their kids did.

I just watched Steve Burns new podcast and it is so soothing and really does give a PBS kid’s show for adults vibe. I don’t think I could binge episodes though, if only because I want to savour each episode and keep one in my back pocket when anxiety hits.
