It has been six years since I last attended this conference in Copenhagen. I arrived a day early so that I could explore the city, and I recall being on my feet the entire day. This is one of the last photos I took that day. I took it after waiting nearly 30 minutes to ensure that there were no people with mobile phones in the picture of the mermaid.

Since I didn't get around to posting yesterday, there are two pictures today. That works out well, because one of my absolute favourite pictures fits perfectly with today's #PhotoSuggestion: something in #orange and #blue. I had rented an Airbnb in the #Bredero high-rise in #Hannover. I had seen this offer by chance and then waited for a suitable opportunity. This turned out to be a business trip that I had to start early before 6:00 a.m. on the first train. I was able to take this picture at the blue hour from the 21st floor.

386 Meter at #sunset in #Berlin.

In February 2020, I stayed in Berlin for the last time. At that time, I deliberately chose the Park Inn Hotel on Alexanderplatz. Specifically, to take these pictures. I remember worrying on the train journey that I wouldn't have a good view from my room. But the receptionist was extremely helpful and chose what was probably the best room for me.

Only 20 minutes passed between the two pictures. Which one do you like more?

Until last Saturday, the Sprengel Museum in #Hannover was showing this exhibition, which brought together the works of art of the three artists. The municipal energy supplier promoted it by illuminating its striking chimneys with the title of the exhibition. I almost missed my chance to capture it. But yesterday – probably the last day – I made my way into town and braved the cold for two hours to take these pictures.
